Frost on the Pumpkin is a nonprofit organization that donates its
proceeds to disabled children in the area to attend Camp Donna, a
summer camp designed specifically for special-needs children.  Frost on
the Pumpkin also awards a college scholarship fund to various local
communities for students who are planning to enter the field of Special
Education.

Since its inauguration, the race has become a South River tradition
occurring on the last Sunday of the month of October.  The racecourse
winds through the streets and neighborhoods of South River.

2007 marks the 28th anniversary of Frost on the Pumpkin.  The race
committee wishes to thank the many volunteers and sponsors who have
continued to make the race a reality.  Special thanks to the Women's
Club and the Parks & Recreation department for their continued
volunteerism.
